Meet Remy and Arlo, the Rhodesian Ridgebacks! I met these two happy, handsome boys in New Hampshire right at the peak of fall foliage. Remy was the perfect “big brother” and roll model for Arlo, who was still full of puppy energy.

We started their adventure right in their own backyard where the boys could run and play. They had a blast fetching their toys, and the fall colors were the perfect backdrop.

How did Rhodesian Ridgebacks get their name? They all have a unique “ridge” of backward growing fur along their spine. Of course, I had to capture this trait in their photos.

When Remy and Arlo’s family told me that they wanted to do the photo session at their home, I was a little hesitant. Although I am happy to come to a dog’s home if that’s where they are most comfortable, I also feel that the location is an important part of my photographs. To get photos with a beautiful view, you often have to travel to that view!
Remy and Arlo’s family assured me that they knew the perfect spot, right up the street from their home. When we got there, I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! We had the whole field to ourselves, so Remy and Arlo had lots of room to explore.

Thank you, Remy and Arlo, for coming on an adventure with me and sharing your beautiful view! If you’d like to schedule a photography session for your dog, please contact me and we can plan all the details.
