This week’s Project 52 theme is “Love.” This was a bit of challenge for me because in many ways, all my photos of Iris are love letters to my dog. Everything I capture about her is something I love about her. So for this week, I decided to focus on two things that Iris loves – snow and her winter coat! At 13 years old, she doesn’t tolerate the cold as well as she used to even though she still loves being outside. Her red coat is just what she needs to stay warm when we go out to play.
Of course, it’s still important to shake off all of the extra snow. Dogs make the best faces when they shake! In the next photo, Iris was a bit too busy watching the snow plows drive past to bother paying any attention to me. The world is too exciting to focus on one thing for long.

I “love” that all of your photos are love letter to Iris. That just makes me melt. 🙂
I. Love. Iris. (and the red coat)!
Love the shot of those icy blue eyes glancing up at the camera! Beautiful photos.

Beautiful images of Iris in the snow! I bet she’s enjoying this week… as long as she has her red coat 🙂 So sweet. I love the “shake off” images – always fun! Great post!
