In New England, fall is the season of cooler days, falling leaves, and warm apple cider. It’s also a season of vibrant colors, which makes it a special season for photography. I just love the reds and golds of fall, and the cooler days seem to put an extra spring in the dogs’ steps. If you’re thinking of having professional photos taken of your dog, fall is one of my favorites seasons for a photo adventure.

The mountains of New Hampshire always put on a particularly dazzling display, but it seems that every corner of New England is filled with beauty as soon as the leaves start to change.

When most people think of fall, they think of the beautiful colors (and maybe a bit of pumpkin spice), but as a photographer, I can’t help but love the golden light that comes along with the shorter days of fall. Look at the light that catching the Golden Retriever’s ears in the next photo – isn’t it beautiful?

Mountain views, woodland trails and fields of golden grass are a few different things I look for when planning a fall photography adventure. Of course, I always keep in mind what you and your dog are going to love and where the dogs are going to have the most fun!

If you think your dog would enjoy a fall adventure and you’re looking for colorful artwork of your dog playing in the golden leaves, I would love to plan a photography session with you. Contact me and we can chat about all the details!
