I met Lacey and Ripley on a perfect summer day at their favorite park. Our adventure started down a winding trail through the woods while Lacey and Ripley raced ahead enjoying their off-leash freedom.

Ripley was all puppy energy and puppy sweetness. I could cuddle this boy all day long!

When we found a little corner of wildflowers, I couldn’t resist capturing a few photos in the Queen Anne’s Lace. Lacey and Ripley were happy to oblige! I just love their smiles.

After playing in the flowers, we continued down the trail and up into a beautiful, open field. Lacey and Ripley showed off their smiles at the top of the hill and then we spent some time exploring in the field.

Of course, we saved the very best spot for last. No adventure with two retrievers is complete without some fun in the water. As soon as we started heading toward the water, they knew exactly where we were going! It was the perfect end to a hot, summer adventure.
