Luna and Walter’s adventure took place on a perfect summer evening at a perfect little beach just south of Boston. Walter (the black lab mix) was full of energy, while Luna (a dignified senior Siberian Husky) took her time exploring and enjoying all the smells.

We started the evening with a stroll through beautiful, grassy fields. I was on the look out for wildflowers, but Luna and Walter were happiest when we stopped for a game of fetch!

If I’m photographing dogs that I know love to swim, I make sure to start their adventure in a place where we’ll be able to cature some portraits while their dry. Then we can finish the evening with lots of fun in the water! Luna and Walter were both thrilled as soon as they saw the ocean, and they both went right in! I loved seeing their joy as they ran and played along the beach. If you look close, you can even catch a glimpse of the Boston skyline in the background.
