I met Forester and Lupine for sunrise in Acadia National Park. They’re both Cavapoos and absolutely sweet and adorable!
When someone is interested in a portrait session for their dog in Acadia, the first thing I ask is if they’re up for an early start. My favorite Acadia views are at sunrise! Plus, we can end up with a whole stretch of coastline all to ourselves, which is extra special during the usually busy summer months. We agreed on a early start for Forester and Lupine’s adventure, and these two pups were ready to go! They were happy to show off their rock climbing skills, while we explored the beautiful coastline.

As the sun started to rise, it began to paint the sky with brilliant streaks of pink and gold. The colors were the perfect backdrop for this epic portrait of Forester and Lupine. This next photograph is one of my favorites from Forester and Lupine’s adventure. I just love their happy expressions along with the colors in the sky!

We all had so much fun exploring the rocky coastline of Acadia National Park during Forester and Lupine’s sunrise adventure. Although, I think Forester and Lupine’s favorite part was the extra cookies they got for being such amazing models!
Are you and your dog heading to Acadia National Park this summer? I might be biased, but I think it’s the very best dog-friendly national park.
